As humans, there are times we have felt lost at what God wants for our lives, finding ourselves at crossroads and almost giving up on ourselves because of hard times. Sometimes it seems like one can’t catch a break. Especially when you’re trying your best to focus on school, work, and/or extracurricular activities. But it’s hard when you’re having issues with your apartment/roommates and struggling and needs many prayers. Other times, you keep thinking maybe you’re not where you’re supposed to be anymore. Below are some Bible verses that can help you through rough times.
When we feel anxious and afraid we can find comfort in the knowledge that God is reaching out His hand to us, to help us trust Him and walk with Him. While anxiety can feel overpowering or terrifying, we should not fear, but rather trust in the perfect and never-changing love and peace of God.
God has a plan for us, so we don’t need to worry about it. His plan is always good and always exactly what we need. His plans will always be better than anything we try to control ourselves.
At those times when you feel God hasn’t answered any of your prayers, here’s an assurance that through prayers, your needs shall be met. Prayer is the hotline that leads directly to God & the best part is the fact that there is no particular handbook on how to pray, you just need to believe that God exists, He hears you, He has the ultimate power to answer your prayers & just keep talking to Him.
2 Corinthian 12:9
Here’s some assurance when you begin to feel that headache or fever, when the doctor diagnoses you with a severe ailment. Jesus says “…For my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
In life, there will always be hard times but at these times, we are encouraged to keep keeping on by rejoicing, patience & continuous prayers.
The testimonies are just around the corner, hold on!!!
Even when it doesn’t seem like it, there is a God of hope that is very much available to fill us with joy and peace, what more could you possibly ask for?
This admonishes us to take Jesus as an example, particularly putting His suffering and sacrifices into perspective, which were harsh but also temporal in comparison to the glory He now enjoys for eternity; Trust me, it is so worth it.
Psalm 138: 8
Here we have a message of perfection and security, as long as you know and believe that God created you, perfection will definitely be yours; it is your birth right.
At those times when the very judgemental hand of the world comes hard on you & the basis for your Christianity seems to be criticised, this scriptures speaks otherwise. So read up and be joyful.
Are you oppressed? Does it seem as if the storms of life are beginning to suck you in? The Book of the Law says there’s refuge for you.
