Today, our spotlight ūüí°ūüí°shines on the delectable, phenomemal gospel singer, Frank Ugochukwu Edwards¬†A¬†Nigerian¬†contemporary gospel rockstar, songwriter¬†and recording artist from¬†Enugu,¬†Enugu State.¬†He is the founder and owner of the record label Rocktown Records, which is home to recording artists such as Edwards himself, Gil, Divine, King BAS, Nkay, and David among others.

His journey to stardom is one which has left an indelible mark of duggedness and determination to several, especially youths.
His songs are sung in every part of the country and provides a go-to danceable gospel alternative for hip-hop-loving Nigerian Christians.
From very humble beginnings, the Rocktown Records boss has risen to prominence in the Nigerian gospel music scene and also in the entertainment circles generally starting with his first album in 2008.

In May 2011 he was nominated as the Gospel artiste of the year in the sixth annual Nigeria Entertainment Awards (NEA). He won the award of the best Gospel Rock artiste in the first annual awards. He also won west Africa best male vocalist in 2012, best hit single at the love world awards 2012 and 3 awards at the Nigeria gospel music awards with these categories; male artiste of the year, song of the year and best male vocal.

One of his album, Frankincense which featured Micah Stampley and Nathaniel Bassey got everyone wowed when it topped Beyonce’s and Adele’s albums within few hours of release on iTunes album.

His achievements can be traced to his committment to his mentor, Pst Chris and his involvement in Believer’s Love World where he was given opportunities to display his talent. He’s also currently a member of Pst Chris’s Presidential Band group and had toured many countries with his music… You are indeed a blessing to this generation and may this world keep valuing your sound
