MESSAGE
The world in general and Nigeria, in particular, need sincere intercessors. Abraham, the father of many nations, went into the ministry of intercession and interceded for the people of Sodom and Gomorrah who were neck-deep in immorality, despite not having up to ten righteous people. The church and even you should rise up and go into the ministry of intercession. Who will stand in the gap? Make yourself available for the ministry of intercession. Souls are dying, and who are those to intercede? It is you, my beloved Brother/Sister!
The level of evil and atrocities in Nigeria has assumed an alarming proportion. Many innocent lives have been terminated and their blood is crying aloud for justice. It is time to intercede for Nigeria. Abraham took time to disturb God in intercession. What are you using your time for, to discuss politics and gossip your colleagues and neighbours? II Chronicles7:14 states that “If My people which are called by My name shall humble themselves, and pray and turn from their wicked ways, then will I (God) hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Take up the duty as an intercessor. The Lord may hear you and through you save the people. Wake up your spirit man and begin to intercede for the Church and the nation, Nigeria. Also, Intercede for the church leadership in Nigeria and ask God to wake it up from its slumber. They shall prosper that pray for the peace of Jerusalem, says the Bible (Ps. 137). The whole world is in turbulent condition. Offer intercessory prayers for peace in the world. Jesus is the Prince of Peace, we invoke peace in His name. Trouble in one part of the world can adversely affect another. Don’t sit on the fence. Rise up and become an intercessor for others TODAY.
PRAYER: Lord, make me an intercessor. Let Your Spirit fill my heart to intercede according to Your will in Jesus’ name Amen.
