MESSAGE
Most of us acknowledge God as an All-powerful and All-doing God. We believe His powers transcend all the affairs of man and this power is displayed in all creation. The tornado or the hurricane displays the awesomeness of His power. The gentle morning breeze shows His love for His children. God invites us to this relationship with Him, giving us a free will to decide. Ex 20:4-5 talks about this choice and God’s reaction to our choice.
From testimonies from His Word, He deploys this power in favour of His children in watching over them. You do not want to be on the wrong side of this awesome power which can be very destructive to those who are not his own. He is inviting us due to His love for His creation and has made provision through Christ for our right choice. He has also promised to deploy this potent power in our favour.
In answering His invitation to His love we turn to His Words which He has spoken in His laws for an understanding of his ways.
When we follow His ways in trusting and obeying these laws, we find peace in the confidence we have in His ability to deliver on His promises. We should always do all we can, not to be on the opposite side of God’s love.
Remember that His anger is terrible and awesome, like the waves of the sea.
Let us, therefore, in reverence and fear worship God our Creator and things will work wonderfully for us.
PRAYER: Dear God and Father we thank You for loving us so much that You have put all You have created at our disposal. Help us to continually glorify your name, in Jesus’ name. Amen
